I'm not sure what you are talking about.the plugs are identical as far as I know, and we have used quite a few of them so I'm pretty sure I know. From a wiring standpoint the biggest difference between the two is that the RV is setup for electric brakes with the brake lights wired together with the turn signals while the 7 pin round for tractors or heavy trucks often don't have a brake function and the turn signals are usually seperate from the brake lights. I assume the lights you have use a 7 pin RV plug that uses flat pins instead of round like the tractor? I'm pretty sure you can buy adaptors but all they are is a male 7 pin round and a female 7 pin RV with a short section of wire connecting the two so it would be easy to make your own. Is it possible to use a standard trailer 7 pin plug into the outlet on the back of the tractor? I have a set of magnetic trailer lights and was planning to use them on the tractor for wagons and other implements but the 7 pin on the tractor is different than the 7 pin on the pickup.
